Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of TPS Eco Ltd services. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and Payment

Quotes

• Quotes are provided after a site survey or an assessment of the information you give us
• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Quotes are based on the site conditions and information known at the time. Work that could not reasonably be foreseen (for example hidden pipework, wiring, or structural issues) may incur additional charges, which we will always discuss with you before proceeding

Payment Terms

• A deposit may be required to confirm an installation and order materials
• The balance is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing
• We accept bank transfer, cash, and major credit/debit cards

Cancellations

• Cancellations 14 days or more before the agreed start date: full refund of your deposit, less the cost of any materials already ordered specifically for your job
• Cancellations less than 14 days before the start date: we may retain part of the deposit to cover materials and lost scheduling
• Once work has begun, you are liable for the work completed and materials supplied to that point

Insurance, Warranties and Liability

Our Cover

• We carry public liability insurance
• Our engineers are Gas Safe registered, and MCS and RECC certified for the renewable work that requires it

Guarantees

• Our workmanship is guaranteed for the period stated in your quote
• Equipment we install carries the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to their terms and to servicing being kept up to date
• A warranty may be affected if the system is altered or serviced by a third party without our agreement

Customer Responsibilities

• You should maintain adequate buildings and contents insurance
• You must tell us about existing systems, pipework, wiring, or conditions that could affect the work

Exclusions

We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing faults or defects in your property, heating system, plumbing, or electrics
• Faults arising from a lack of servicing, or from third-party work carried out after our installation
• Delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, supply shortages, or third parties such as your energy supplier or Distribution Network Operator (DNO)

Service Delivery

Access

• You must provide safe, clear access to the work area and to the relevant services (water, gas, electricity)
• Parking near the property is the customer’s responsibility, and additional charges may apply where access is restricted

Scheduling and Delays

• We will agree a start date with you and keep you informed of any changes
• We are not liable for consequential losses caused by delays outside our control
• Some work, such as solar export or certain grid connections, depends on third-party approvals for which we cannot guarantee timescales

Grants and Certification

• Where a job is eligible for a scheme such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, eligibility is decided by the scheme, not by us
• We provide the certification (for example MCS) needed to support a valid application, but we cannot guarantee any grant or funding outcome

Customer Obligations

You must:

• Provide accurate information about your property and your existing systems
• Ensure the work area is accessible and safe on the agreed date
• Allow reasonable access for any follow-up servicing needed to keep warranties valid

Complaints

If you have a complaint:

2. We will investigate and respond within 7 working days
3. If it remains unresolved, you may escalate to the relevant body — RECC for renewable energy installations, or the Gas Safe Register for gas work

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
